DESCRIPCIÓN:
Nantip es una comunidad shuar tiene 15 años de vida organizativa y jurídica. La fiesta de conmemoración es cada 29 de Agosto. La comunidad conformada por 12 familias y 88 personas. Como actividades de subsistencia tenemos principalmente la agricultura y la caza. Se cultivan yuca, plátano, guineo, camote, entre otros. Los animales preferidos para la caza son los saínos, la guatusa, los monos y las ardillas. En Nantip se conservan algunas costumbres tradicionales a nivel de la organización social, la arquitectura, música, danza, la comida y la medicina.
Esta comunidad al igual que otras agrupadas en la asociación Shuar de la región del Río Tiputini, están realizando esfuerzos encaminados al rescate cultural ancestral de la cultura Shuar (tradiciones, artesanías, arquitectura entre otros) para rescatar la identidad de esta étnia así como también una alternativa del ecoturismo de estas comunidades. La Comunidad Shuar Nantip trata de mantener una cultura e identidad particular dentro del Estado ecuatoriano. Al igual que los representantes de las demás nacionalidades indígenas, los comuneros de Nantip son parte del proceso histórico de reivindicación de la diferencia y el valor de esta cultura e identidad.
Shuar Nantip Comunity
Nantip is a community Shuar has 15 years of organizational and juridical life. The holiday of commemoration is every August 29. The community shaped by 12 families and 88 persons. Since activities of subsistence we have principally the agriculture and the hunt. There is cultivated yucca, banana, Guinea, peanut, between others. The animals preferred for the hunt are the peccaries, the agouti, the monkeys and the squirrels. In Nantip some traditional customs remain to level of the social organization, the architecture, music, dance, the food and the medicine.
This community as others grouped in the association Shuar of the region of the Rio Tiputini, realize efforts directed to the cultural ancient rescue of the culture Shuar (traditions, crafts, architecture between others) to rescue the identity of this étnia as well as also an alternative of the ecotourism of these communities. The Community Shuar Nantip tries to support a culture and particular identity inside the Ecuadoran State. As the representatives of other indigenous nationalities, the commoners of Nantip are part of the historical process of recovery of the difference and the value of this culture and identity.
