DESCRIPCIÓN:
El Centro de Rescate Cultural Elías Andy es una institución orientada al rescate y revalorización de la cultura Kichwa. Fue fundado el 12 de noviembre del 2002 en la parroquia Luís Armenia. La parroquia está conformada por 16 comunidades quichuas. Si bien el centro funciona bajo la dirección de una directiva conformada por miembros de la familia Andy, el objetivo del centro es principalmente investigar sobre las costumbres ancestrales de la nacionalidad Kichwa para intentar recrear las que se hayan perdido en el proceso de interacción con la sociedad nacional.
El rescate de las costumbres (danza, música y artesanías) que el centro de rescate y sus comunidades efectúan, son presentadas en celebraciones oficiales del cantón y otras propias de la parroquia y parroquias vecinas. Las actividades de rescate de este centro, es un esfuerzo comunitario por mantener vigentes las tradiciones y costumbres de esta etnia. El centro es visitado por turistas nacionales y extranjeros.

The Center of Cultural Rescue Elias Andy is an institution orientated to the rescue and revaluation of the culture Kichwa. Luis Armenia was founded on November 12, 2002 in the parish. The parish is shaped by 16 Quechua communities. Though the center Andy works under the direction of a board shaped by members of the family, the aim of the center is principally to investigate on the ancient customs of the nationality Kichwa to try to recreate those who have got lost in the process of interaction with the national company.
The rescue of the customs (dance, music and crafts) that the center of rescue and his communities effect, they are presented in official celebrations of the canton and own others of the parish and neighboring parishes. The activities of rescue of this center, it is a community effort for keeping in force the traditions and customs of this etnia. The center is visited by national and foreign tourists.
